BECOME OUR CHARITY PARTNER
Our charity partners help power our work across the UK. From funding vital research and raising awareness, to supporting families through the most devasting time of their lives.
We work closely with them, so they can see the real difference their support makes.
If you would like to partner with us, or support us in any way, we'd love to hear from you.
We are incredibly grateful to all the businesses, and organisations that support our work. Helping fund awareness, family support and vital NORSE and FIRES research.

WHY PARTNER WITH US
Support from businesses — big and small, local and national — is vital to the work of Sam’s Superheroes Foundation.
NORSE and FIRES are rare and catastrophic neurological emergencies that strike previously healthy children and adults without warning, with life-changing consequences. One in five people will not survive the acute stage and there is currently no cure.
Families often describe feeling terrified, isolated and overwhelmed whilst navigating an unknown and devastating journey. Clinicians also describe how they can feel when faced with a patient affected by these conditions.
Despite their severity, there remains a significant lack of understanding, research and awareness surrounding NORSE and FIRES — amongst clinicians, researchers and the wider public — alongside limited dedicated support for affected families.
Driven by lived experience and strengthened through collaboration with leading clinicians, researchers and specialist organisations, we are working to improve outcomes, raise awareness, support research, and help families across the UK feel seen, supported and less alone.
Through our three pillars of Research | Awareness | Family Support, we are driving meaningful progress for people affected by NORSE and FIRES.
The impact we are making is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters, fundraisers and charity partners.
The UK is home to some of the world’s leading clinicians and researchers - but greater awareness, collaboration and funding are urgently needed to drive progress and improve outcomes for people affected by NORSE and FIRES.
THE IMPACT IS DEVASTATING.
Families are suddenly thrown into a world of epilepsy, intensive care, medically induced comas, and uncertainty, as doctors battle to stop the relentless seizures and protect the brain.
Whilst some people survive, many are left with life-changing disabilities, and some families face the unimaginable loss of a
loved one.

FUNDING NORSE & FIRES RESEARCH
In 2026, in partnership with the Epilepsy Research Institute, we are funding £110,000 of pioneering UK research into NORSE and FIRES. It will become only the second UK research study dedicated to NORSE and FIRES and will be helping to deepen understanding, improve outcomes, and move closer to life-saving answers.
This is just the beginning - help us go further. Your support will help our our work across research, awareness and family support.

NORSE & FIRES RAISED IN UK PARLIAMENT
In April 2026, NORSE and FIRES were raised in UK Parliament for the first time when Samantha Niblett MP spoke in the House of Commons on behalf of Sam's Superheroes Foundation and families affected by these devastating neurological conditions.
This is the first time NORSE and FIRES had been raised in UK Parliament — and, to our knowledge, in any Parliament around the world.
For families who have suffered in silence for far too long, this was a landmark moment.
This is only the beginning.
REAL PEOPLE, REAL STORIES
Every pound raised by our charity partners makes a direct difference to families whose lives have been turned upside down by NORSE and FIRES.
These are not statistics. These are real people, real children like Sam, and real families navigating unimaginable circumstances.
